Bantam™ HD 6.5x32 Youth Binocular - Product Overview
honestly so impressive, nothing is as cool to me as long range plinking. i do find it funny that this vid is about a budget build and you have a can on the rifle
No mention of the sleep timer. Is this the old 14 hour sleep or the newer 10 minutes timer? Also, the newer Defender has an improved emitter to improve the dot refresh
Direct mount on my 43x MOS is a win
Many thanks for explaining range finder modes
Will you guys be bring out a model of the fury 5000 ab that will pair with the geoballistics app like the razor gb as I’ll be in the market for a new range find in the near future cheers.
What I mean by that is the map/gps
The man is a national treasure. Love his videos.
What sling is on that rifle?
What I really would find interesting is to see how big the distance of a normal rifle shot really is. Like try it in Alaska where there's no one around and just shoot in the sky and see what happens. Google said it could go as far as 40km or 25miles
Okay I just realized this is an April fools joke 💀
This is first time I understood what people were trying to explain in 20 min vids.
That’s a nice setup,and pretty sweet!!! I love my M&P 2.0,I don’t feel like you can’t wrong with it!!!!
That’s sick my kids would love it 🤣🙌🏽
Thank you about to try this at the range today.
I run the 1-6 Strike Eagle 2 SFP it just works best for me. If I want more magnification I’ll probably get a full size scope.
Been shooting with turrets off and on for a few years with pretty decent breaks been range tips-mainly because i don't like freezing my butt off in the middle of winter. For some reason i always forget which way to dial windage and it takes a lot of misses for me to remember.
My tactical guns I like the scope up off the gun but my precision guns I like the scope down tight. I own mounts of just about every height.
None of the screw’s worked for my Kimber R7 Mako. I just bought the CCW version yesterday. Other than that I’m definitely buying these new series over the Holosun
No RMR = No purchase
You didn’t mention that when you range a target you must hold below your target ? Ie if your scope / impact offset is 3 inches or so to hold 0.8 mills etc below the target ? Is this correct? As that’s what other channels are saying - however you said to hold on target ?
There's a dramatic difference in 450 Bushmaster and 350 Legend drop. Hard to imagine that the same BDC lines could be accurate with both. Any ballistic charts for example??? BUT, I bet it would close with the new 360
Cries in RMR footprint
Do you have to use a different length screw when using the shim plate?
whats the difference between gen 2 and gen 3
Please advise witch screws size did you use fir this mount?
I noticed the eye covers have a little strap-notch one that's open and one that's closed do those get connected in any way to the straps?
When Jerry speaks I stop what ever I’m doing and give him my complete undivided attention. His word is gold. Great video Jerry.
I am curious about my the eyepiece, is the eyepiece on this model upgradable? If so what would be the benefit to upgrading the eyepiece? I guess basically I am asking if it is modular? Can I buy the cheap version and upgrade it until it is as good as the better models?
Nice!
The
😢
Did these just get released? I literally just bought a diamondback last week and was disappointed that I couldn't find a value model below the diamondback
What magnification would you need to see holes in paper targets at 200 yards?
I'd like to know this as well
An inexpensive spotting scope with an MRAD reticle would be awesome!
Love all my Vortex products ! Up to 90 % of products are made in China and shipped in, but were designed in the USA and have a made in the USA label, and no one stops to read the fine print ! Lol Some of them parts and products you have on your firearms today are not 100% American made ! $5. to make in China over $20. to make in the UsA and people ask why China is buying up the United States.
🔴
What connector are you using?
Why do people say "heighth"? 😂🤦🏻♂️
Can we get a reticle eye piece? Vortex would DOMINATE the market with a budget spotting scope with something like that. I personally have a Diamond back spotting scope.
NO one cares what I think about this video.
Nice setup, I am running a Kimber Montana 280 AI with the same scope. Mounted in Backcountry ringmounts. Amazing setup and weighs about 7 lbs loaded.
You honestly don't know how excited I am. I've needed a spotting scope for a long time now a good one. I have that $20 barska one for the last like 10 years now and I really need to upgrade but I couldn't spend 500 bucks on your used to be lowest grade one but I can spend $300 a little easier.
will there be 12-36X50 options for the diamondback and viper guys soon?
RAD!
YES!
Thank You Vortex!!!!! been patiently waiting for a budget spotting scope from you guys ever since the Nomad was discontinued.
Picked up at Cabelas initially very impressed, build quality is there. Put it back down after looking through the glass, the reticle was just not even close to being crisp. Very underwhelming, was expecting more. If it had a brighter reticle and the ability to change to just a dot……I would have bought one. Actually I am wondering why it is so big and clunky, the latest meprolight sight is half the length of this. So wanted to like this optic, but it just doesn’t work. I am disappointed that so many UA-camrs are pumping this product up. Really does cause me to question their credibility. I feel that the potential for this to be a great sight is there but it just sort of flops. Viewing area is great, build quality is awesome, layout of controls are great, battery compartment accessibility is very good and the materials it is made of is excellent. Just the washed out reticle and size at this price point doesn’t work for me. Keep in mind this is just my opinion based off of handling it in store not actually using it. I would recommend if your ordering one online to go handle one prior to purchase. If vortex has an improved third gen version coming out please feel free to send me a link to a video on it.
Best explanation of the focal planes that I have ever seen, thank you for that.
So simply explained, wish I would have seen this year's ago.
Loveeee this build.
Was bummed when i turned my reddot on and discovered i have eye defect the 3x gathers the light for me and turns it back into a crisp dot
That slide drop at the end is like a screw you to Massad
